T E A M P A T R O L D E M O
from Protovision
Text by Dave Moorman
Just as I was slotting in programs
for this issue, Jakob Voos (Jak T
Rip) from Protovision drops me an
email with this demo on it.
If you are a fan of Moon Patrol or
Decathon, you are going to love this
Buggy Bounce across two different
terrains. This is a two player demo.
See below about the Four Player Full
Version!
Here you must move the buggy by
wiggling the joystick left and right.
Pressing the Fire Button sometimes
gives you a boost. Joystick up bounce.
You will need to learn the course --
there are places you MUST jump at
exactly the right time.
You will need a joystick in both
ports in order to enter two player
names at the start of the game.
Otherwise, playing one buggy at a time
singly is fun as well.
This is a Demo, with only two
routes and only two players. To go
whole hog and live the Full Team
Patrol, you need to order
TEAM PATROL
&
4-JOYSTICK ADAPTOR
The full version can include four
players (using the 4-Joystick
adapter), where two players wrestle
their buggy. Plus a great selection of
terrains to bounce over.
We are the US distributors for
Protovision games and the 4-Play
Joystick Adaptor. With this hardware
unit plugged into the back of your
C-64/128, you can have up to 4
joystick players at a time.
And a great and crazy 4-player
game is Bomb Mania. It's a case of
"blast or be blasted" -- plus nasty
ghosts and other surprises.
We have them all right now ready
to add to your Commodore collection!
[4-Play Joystick Adaptor....$18]
[Team Patrol................$13]
[Bomb Mania.................$15]
